The St Tudy Community Shop Limited is a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefits Act 2014. It is registered with, and administered by, the Financial Conduct Authority, with the registered number 31198 R.

Anyone living in the community, or with an interest in the community, over the age of 16 can become a member by becoming a shareholder in the organisation. Shares are £10 each, with a minimum holding of 1 share and maximum 2,000 shares. Each shareholder has only one vote irrespective of number of shares held. The shares carry no right to interest, dividend or bonus and may only be transferred or redeemed at the absolute discretion of the management committee.

Members have a voice in the Society’s affairs by attending, speaking and submitting motions to be considered at members’ meetings, voting at members’ meetings and electing representatives to the management committee.
